  • 6th – Election

The title track. As it says you can choose what you want. It is true to the degree if you can choose what is on the radio.  It is a show of some sort and some characteristics. A short song, a small but big point.

Recorded in the fall of 2017, written in 2016.

Due for release in the fall of 2018.

  • Steam Packet (Offshore Bank Accounts)

I hear they are catching on to this in America. The Eu fair trade wonders too if big business really does benefit anyone. A simple song, sung in a low key kind of way.

    Who is indebted to who

    When they provide vital links

    They don’t like the deal

    They just go bust

    When they employ so many

    who owns who

    in the name freedom

    What can you do

    big business is kind

    big business is tolerant

When they make lots of money

    for offshore bank accounts

Western democracy told you that you were free

while the birds and bees keep you busy

revelation at the bottom of your glass

that you were sold what you already owned

  • 5th Track on Election – Never Vote for What They Want

5th Track – Never Vote For What They Want

Life is like that, we have heard it said. People rarely do what they want, so why should they vote any differently. The politics of fear is a big thing and very real in small and big societies. We focus on what people are afraid of. That then leaves little time over for what we want. Not complicated. Raise it from the bottom of the ocean where it is buried beneath the fear and maybe we find that there is nothing there. Awareness is a long and sobering game. It is real though and just a little can go much further than we expect. This song took a lot longer to do for all sorts of technical reasons. The meaning is parallel to the process.

Due for release in the fall of 2018.
