From my Mother’s country. On a footloose voyage. Not many of these about. I would have offered my services but they were not recruiting.

From the Madhatters days With S Mc Hillbilly
Stand tip toe on the side-walk yo, Brothers motherfuckers on the Business go
sweet profuse and cosmetic roll, yippee do and bless my soul
Waiting to cross the road
I know I have been there before but there is plenty more reason to go there one more
Collision with moving vehicles can take their toll, A few more split seconds I must afford
Now I go across thought I was OK but release I am not, Stop pause wrapped in thought, backed across that road lays a liquor shop
Waiting to cross the road
Now I enter the store and say how it is going
Radicules are doing good, but signs of weakness are showing
If things improve there is no way of knowing, well I got to be going
I have some speed to be blowing
Waiting to cross the road
With a bottle of Port for Load, like that video came the toad
Cars going by my oh my, slow speed because there is cops inside
look to the left look to the right, Almost idiot enough to make one stupidfy
Waiting to cross the road
Now it does pay to be to hasty or to bold
Better to be careful as Mama told
Waiting to cross the road
The words to a song .
Get up, get on up, get up
Get up, get on up, get up
Take it out take it back
Modern politics is such a bore
Give me some who says what they feel
World economics that disinpowers me
A government that is 500 miles from me
Get up, get on up, get up
Get up, get on up, get up
I am so dazed and confused
The rain falls mainly on the plain
Social democracy want it contracted, I want to wake up and feel my rights
Not too complicated to understand, show me where my taxes go
We can work for indifference, Protection from whom
Something worth protecting, Rise up and fight
Get up, get on up, get up
Get up, get on up, get up
Heading to the light
The rain falls on every one

So, we have reached a point along this journey. My brain seems to have clicked and decided to make some changes.
I think Twitter’s not for me. Maybe it’s just what it’s become. It doesn’t seem to engage me in the way I need to be engaged, and there’s probably a lot of suffering somewhere on that platform. Of course, it is not the only platform.
Of course, the challenge is to organize one’s thoughts into something meaningful. Once you find an audience, however, that doesn’t seem to be happening on X.
So, I took the plunge and opened up a Nostra account and started an email subscription account. I like the way it’s made Nostr. It makes you think. My decision isn’t so much about the freedom to write what you will, although that could be important. It is more to organise and focus my thoughts and ultimately what I do.
So yeah, if something doesn’t work, you must stop, change it, and do something else. That must be an important life lesson. As they say, the definition of insanity is to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result.
Note, working on new tracks for 3025 (There is thought) of which this is one. Listen to Winter Is Coming by Cousin Lee on
